By default, privacy mode blurs the product photo. If you prefer a designed silhouette or an abstract image, upload it to the Privacy image metafield (custom.censored_image) on the product. Mahrem then fades to that image instead of blurring.
Use a square or portrait image in the same ratio as your product photos (see Theme settings → Product cards → Image ratio).
